Every Saturday at 10am-12pm: 1/19, 2/16, 3/16.
Rehearsals will be held at the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Registration Fee: $25 (Includes one diagnosed individual and one caregiver)
Audience – Participants and Caregivers.
Beginning in Fall of 2018, LIAF will offer a year-round Chorus program for individuals diagnosed with the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia and caregivers.The mission of LIAF’s chorus program is to bring together diagnosed individuals and their caregivers for a shared purpose. Chorus members will work with a skilled conductor and accompanist to learn a repertoire of music. Each session will close with a performance for family and friends. No auditions are required.
At the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) our mission is to improve the quality of life for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia, and their caregivers. We actively work to achieve this mission through research-based programming for all stages of Alzheimer’s, Caregiver Support Groups, in-home respite solutions, transportation options, and additional services.
