Golf Outing Raises Funds to Support Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation

September Event Honored the Treiber Family, Long Island Philanthropists

The Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation 20th Annual Golf Classic was held at the newly redesigned Sands Point Golf Club in September after a weather delay caused by tropical storm Andrea in early June. The event honored Long Island philanthropists Craig, John, Peter and Scott Treiber, and benefited Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation’s growing cutting-edge services to people with Alzheimer's disease and their families. The Treiber family is well known on Long Island and beyond for providing insurance, risk management, and distribution management services for commercial, institutional and individual clients for more than 100 years, and they are perhaps equally known for generations of commitment to philanthropic work. Some of Long Island’s premier hospitals, healthcare programs and social services agencies are among the charitable organizations that the Treiber family supports.
