Local Family Honors "Pop Pop" with LIAF Donation

Three Manhasset children decided to forego birthday presents this year to help the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation (LIAF) in Port Washington, N.Y. In lieu of gifts, Elizabeth, age 16; Jack, age 14; and Catherine Rose, age 9, Hannan requested that donations be made to LIAF in honor of William Hannan, their beloved “Pop Pop”. Read more...

Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation Names New Executive Director

Last week, Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation (LIAF) Board Chairman, Paul Eibeler, named Tori Cohen, LCSW, the Foundation's executive director. Cohen has worked at LIAF since 2003, first as a social worker and later as director of LIAF's respite program. Most recently, she served as LIAF's acting executive director. Read more...
